千三百三十七: Swamped

Being the last day of work for 4 members of the team today, (those in Japan who didn't want to come to Singapore and thus lost their job, and 1 who is going to prepare for relocation to sg) their work had to be passed to someone. And. guess who got it.

Yes, me. Ok la, it's not very difficult work, but from zero, I am suddenly the interim URC, and its a lot of work threatening to overwhelm me. From 8am, teleconferences start (the early timing to suit USA's evenings) and tomorrow there are 3 conferences scheduled at the same time!! because it is actually 2 separate person's work, it didn't occur to them that perhaps a single person might have to tear herself apart attending all 3 at the same time. -.- so i've had to reach the office at 7.30am, to prepare for the meetings b4 the meetings and to eat breakfast. and after lunch I'm just like nearly dozing off from sheer tiredness.

and Tomorrow, Shinji will be OOF (Out Of oFfice) for a meeting. and we 3 ducklings will be left to man the frontlines alone. abit worried, but shall just pray nothing major happens that I can't handle tomorrow.

gossip update. today the Beng didn't come to office until 10am. i think. then he only came back from lunch at 2.30pm. and he didn't walk past my place the whole day today except for those times. so zero chance to even open my mouth. He left the office at 5.30pm sharp (very good life ... ) but at that time, Shinji happened to be going through something with me at my desk (argh!!!!!) and i saw him glance over but continued walking past. sighz. there's always tomorrow I suppose.

新年会 The Party is tomorrow. I found an old tiara, maybe will use that to spruce up my outfit if needed. Thanks to my mom who managed to polish the thing until it's bright and shiny. hoho. I think i'll just go prettily. It's not a costume party after all. else its easy to just go as a cute french maid and say 'Oh, Master' to all the males there.

千三百三十六: JLPT Results!

so happy! I managed to fail my JLPT Level 1 exam with flying colours!

Letter of explanation
The passing mark is 280, or 70%

JLPT results
I managed a 247/400! 61% score!

haha. actually I achieved my personal target of 60%, got more than that, so I should be on track to passing my exam maybe this year? hmmmm. but not bad, I really expected alot worse. But as expected my weakest section was the Reading/Grammar which is basically reading comprehension and a whole lot of grammar that I didn't know. but at least i got over 50% for that section! hoho. well, have to study harder this year!

I went to the dentist earlier in the evening, and this month I chose back Yellow again. there wasn't much of a choice, they had not many colours left, maybe cos its end of the month. -.- bearing in mind I have a party on Thursday, I decided against taking colours like Neon pink or green. maybe next month bah. I asked the dentist to tighten more this month, I want the bottom row to move more! the progress was slow last month, and the dentist agreed with me today that last month the rubber band wasn't very tight.

and we took a full team picture yesterday after the lion dance. you can finally see what that wDL looks like:

Business Operations Cos Team
the squatter on the right most in the first row is that irritating guy

well. I got no comments cos recently I been trying to just ignore him instead of showing I'm pissed. this is basic Office Politics I guess. dun let people find your weakness.

for some gossip, recently there's been a cute but beng-looking manager smiling at me every time he walk past my seat. i noticed because he would purposely turn to his left/right while walking straight along the corridor (depending on the direction he's walking in), meet my eye and smile. (#^-^#) unfortunately, he's married and I know this because I overhead his very loud conversation in the photocopy room on his handphone one day b4 he started purposefully smiling at me. On the phone, he said something about " last time my wedding blah blah blah... " (-.-) sighz. i saw his beng-looking black Lancer in the carpark (cos someone who knows who he is pointed it out to me) and found out from the parking label on his car that he lives in Pasir Ris (ya, i'm a stalker..) . so far away!! yah so when he walks by its like the highlight of the day cos my PC doesn't smile at me very much. then I'll manage a smile back even though I know he dunno me and i dunno him. argh. maybe i'll summon up my courage tomorrow and actually talk to him and ask him why he keeps on smiling at me. On a lower note, someone else is smiling at me but i feel pretty disgusted. it's another manager who is abit sissyish and looks like he is leering at me everytime i see him. yuck. This, I can do without.

okiez. gd nite people!

千三百三十五:Lions in the Office!

I went to the office early this morning and realised that there had been an upgrade in the tool I support over the weekend. After I sent out the email informing everyone to upgrade, and my own PC worked fine so I went for a meeting. An hour later, I returned to my PC to see tons of emails bombarding me with questions about error messages. ???

I went to check on their PCs and the weird thing was that it was an inconsistent problem. I dunno what caused it, probably something wrong with the installer code and they were missing some file in their system. it was very irritating that I couldn't solve the problem and I was feeling very distracted I don't know for what reason.

and the Lions came to our office today! the Lions in the Lion dance i mean. hehe. it was funny seeing them try to do the cai qing and peel the oranges in the cramped cubicles.

DSC00216
the lion hunched over a table peeling oranges & eating documents. hehehe.

but they moved around, and it was a good distraction from work. I miss playing the drums. and I think HL and the rest would have done a much better job at the caiqing compared to today's lions. they were pretty shoddy with their footwork, the oranges they peeled didn't form any word as well.

and the rest of the day went by in a blur, with me trying to check air ticket prices (again.) with a short notice. sighz. i hope this is all worth it in the end.

千三百三十四: Dream Girls

I watched the movie Dreamgirls with ZC, my cousin today. We get along pretty well outside my grandma's house, it's just very very strange that we don't talk there. hmm.

The movie was not bad, but the singing wasn't as connected as compared to Chicago, when the singing sounded very natural incorporated into the movie. This movie was sometimes singing and sometimes talking and when they started singing, it was sudden and often surprising. But mainly, Beyonce was really pretty. Although compared to the other girls, she looked skinny with her high cheekbones and everything.

ZC has many many friends. In the theatre, he bumped into his fren who was sitting in the row below us. Outside, he bumped into his army fren or uni fren, who was in the same batch as me in HC, in s63, whose gf was my hall junior and who didn't recognise me at first. hmmmmm. then, at The Heeren, he bumped into another fren again. so many!! I didn't bump into anyone at all, save the hall junior.

I managed to get the glamour mascara (mascara with silver glitter) at The Face Shop, saw some transparent mascara oso, which was just supposed to give ur eyelashes the wet look and look darker I think. It was cheaper than those pharmacy mascara anyway, so no harm, will give it a try tomorrow instead of my usual mascara when I go to work. The silver glitter mascara, will be used for the party I guess. more Celebrity feel. hahaha.

After that, I went to my grandma's place alone, cousin went for some other appts instead. No chance to ride his car unfortunately. My youngest cousins were really noisy, they are still in kindergarten, and it really just makes me very resolved not to have boys as my children in future. quiet girls are much much better. :)

Dental appointment this tuesday, I think I will choose baby blue rubber bands this month.

Must remember to photocopy my contract and my IC tomorrow.

千三百三十三:Star Wars V - The Empire Strikes back

Finally got down to watching this today. This is better than Episode IV, alot more excitement and interesting bits. & since I roughly know which character is who liao.

Went to West mall with my parents in the evening, am giving much thought to what to wear to the office party at 1 Rochester on thurs. It is not a super classy place, but the theme of the party is Celebrity and its giving me a headache. and I realised I lent my sis the camera so i can't take any pictures except with my handphone. Which has limited memory so I can't be trigger-happy as always. Damn.

千三百三十一: Hillman Restaurant

OK this is the restaurant famous for the paper chicken apparently. Its at 135 Kitchener Road if any of you are interested. They really tasted good, but apparently the place is famous among Japanese, so the people around us were mostly Japanese. Even the restaurant owner can speak some Japanese phrases. haha.

today I went to the Police HQ for a photo fit session but ended up identifying the bastard pervert from a cctv footage taken at the MRT station. apparently the kind malay youth had followed the pervert all the way to the station (while on the phone with the police) and they had been able to at least ascertain he had taken the train and not other modes of transport. So, I iD-ed the guy in the video, and the malay guy was in the video too.. seriously a big thank you to that malay kid who lent his hand in this whole affair. Now they have a face of the pervert from the video and they are going to follow up on this lead to try to get the pervert. So HAPPY!!!! at least now there is a chance of an arrest and some leads for the police to follow up on.

getting busier at work or at least more responsibilities. I must not start doubting my own capabilities.

千三百三十:Din Tai Fung

Yesterday, our boss from Japan came and we had a good dinner at Din Tai Fung. was happy that the WDL was on leave and we didn't have to go with him. I miss the dinners I had with Kana & the other people in the Corporate planning team in Capcom. it was very fun, we were of the same age group roughly and there was alot less guardedness than now. I dun really know what the rest are thinking but my weakness is that my feelings are pretty much written all over my face. sometimes its good but i guess in the work place, its not too good.

I am going for the photofit tomorrow, its abit late for it, since I probably could have remembered it better yesterday / today. Maybe I'll ask them where to get the alarm thingey. Talk about the after effects. I am now kinda frightened at the top of walking anywhere alone. when i see people walking towards me, I'll be thinking if they were going to be perverts.

We are going for team dinner again tomorrow, its a place called paper chicken.(i think)

千三百二十八: Chinese New Year

First day of CNY today.

I woke up at 10am, showered and was ready to leave by 11.30am. we headed straight for my grandma's place, had lunch there and just sat there the whole day. Luckily, many other relatives visited my grandma and we just sat there collecting red packets. I was so sleepy (bored) I fell asleep in the afternoon for about 2 hours. In the evening, we visited my dad's army friend. This used to be a annual occurrence during CNY but it got lesser recently and we haven't been there in 4-5 years. So in our absence, they had acquired a dog.

DSC00197
The Dog.

The dog took to me, behaving much like the dogs in Nintendogs, rolling over to let me scratch its tummy. However, it took to me so much it tried to hump my leg later on. that was kinda gross. -.-"

However, quantity does not mean quality, and despite collecting over 12 angbaos, we did not get even $100 from today's visit. sighz.

So its back to work for me tomorrow. A scary picture for u from the doctor's visit on friday.

needles
acupuncture

It was my first time doing acupuncture and it hurt less than I expected. But it was still pretty horrifying to see those needles in my hand. But it worked, and the lump really is smaller now after the treatment. guess i'll visit the doctor when they open again after CNY.

ok have a happy 2nd day of CNY tomorrow!

千三百二十七: Letters from Iwojima

I managed to catch this movie tonight thanks to A.

I was pleasantly surprised when he agreed to watch the movie with me, and was so efficient in booking the tickets. He's another fren I haven't met with in at least 3-4 years.

Today, woke up at about 11am, then went to my dad's office to help him solve his modem problem. it turns out that the USB port is faulty and that the modem is fine. Went to get a wrist guard too, but when i tie it tighter, it cuts off the blood circulation and my hand goes numb but too loose and my wrist continues moving and it defeats the purpose.

After that, we went to my grandma's place for reunion dinner. Steamboat dinner, the food was so-so. i then left at about 9.30pm to meet A at Cineleisure. He looks the same, abit older maybe?

& we went for a cup of tea b4 the movie started and he said something tht surprised me. he said in 2002, we also went out for a movie on the CNY eve night too, at suntec. did we?! it was a surprise to me, what a coincidence I tot, but I can:t remember. i haven't started the blog then, so I can't check back to what movie we watched or wat else I can just use the blog to recall the date. today's conversation with him really reminded me of how much I have succeeded in forgetting the uni years. even though i am a details person, i couldn't remember all these things about him, his schools, etc, even though I most certainly would have and should have remembered.

anyway, the movie. This is the first time I came to the 9th level of cineleisure, the whole place is a LAN gaming center with 3 theatres. The movie was pure war, don't expect to see love stories like pearl harbour. and I had thought the movie was an english show (the directors are clint Eastwood & Steven Spielberg) but the whole movie was in Japanese! which was kinda weird. but i thought the show was kinda gruesome cos they showed alot of harakiri scenes, except the harakiri was done by holding a grenade in ur hands and blowing urself up. Internal conflict & the sheer overwhelming numbers of the US army led to the loss of this island. It was a very sad show..

When we finished the show at 1.30am? the cinema was still thronging with teens. i was very surprised. hmmmmm. reunion dinner with frens after the family dinner?

千三百二十六:Movie Event

We had the chance to watch Ghost Rider at Vivocity today, courtesy of the company.

J came along as well, since I could get the tix anyway and the movie was so-so. of cos exciting, but some parts too incredible.

The shuttle bus left the company at 6.10pm, we reached vivocity at about 6.20pm and there was no time for dinner. So we had only time to grab a hotdog and eat outside the cinema. J came about then and he got popcorn and I introduced him to Shinji. He managed to get a look at the gross guy aka wdl as well. before the movie started, we were suaning him (WDL) about who will get the bad luck to sit next to him for the movie, and poor SY kena-ed the seat. luckily, the aPAC team had 2 absentees for the movie and she ran down to their row in relief, else she would have to endure WDL asking her questions and disturbing her throughout the movie. heng...

the best part about the movie was when the girl stroked the rider's face at the end when it was on fire and it turned back human with her touch across his cheek. I don't really know why, but I just felt that that gesture was incredibly romantic. it made me feel like stroking somene's cheek just to try out. haha.

after the movie ended, that WDL was pestering J to get him to explain the movie to him. WHILE me & J was in the midst of conversation. Can you believe how rude that wDL was? and he tried to introduce himself as David. -.- since when ??! and then poor J had to speak to him and get his first hand experience of WDL the gross, and after that, that WDL tried to pester J to have dinner with him, since we all decided to not have dinner cos he wanted dinner. haha. he is super thick skinned!! I had to say at least 3 times that J had dinner already before it got into him.

and we left him to dapao his dinner while we headed home and he went to stick to the APAC people he found, unfortunately for them. and they found him to be exactly the same as his reputation. which proves that it's not just me who finds him unbearable!!he tried to get a free ride from one of them by following them around when they were going to their car, but they live in the east and they told him le yet he kept trailing them around. when they were going to the carpark and they had said for the thousandth time that they were going to go Pasir Ris and he was not on their way, he made up some stupid excuse that he was going to best denki, not following them. (it was 10+ pm, shops closed, so the excuse was like a wtf excuse.) duh.

it's hard not to be mean to buay zidong and whiny persons.

glad its friday tomorrow. scheduled to go doctor's tomorrow evening and to send my sister off.

千三百二十五: WOW!

Today was my first time participating in a major event at the company.

We had a Love Stunt to promote Windows Vista and launch the Windows Vista MRT all coinciding with Valentine's day today. . so basically, staff were ferried to Expo station where we collected our goodies and balloons and waited to ride the MRT. haha. we all were supposed to wear a WOW t-shirt for unity (WOW is the theme, and the tagline is "The WOW starts now") but some went further with wigs.

the goodie bag paperbag
our goodie bag

IMG_2420
all the staff with balloons

and so we waited and waited and a train came!! we were all very excited and almost stepped out of the yellow line to try to get a photo until we saw this:

Ordinary MRT
not the Windows Vista train

letdown sia. The station master told us that it wasn't this train, maybe the next one, so we waited and waited and the weather got warmer and warmer and finally we heard a loud and long blast of the horn, signalling the real arrival of the train.

Windows Vista MRT
the train we've all been waiting for

and the train is not just in 1 colour!

Windows Vista MRT
the rest of the train with the multi-coloured wigs

and then we were smart enough to go to the first carriage where the photographers were. Apparently, that's what the wig wearers were doing, trying to be on the evening news with their colourful hair and dressing. and antics. cos the orange wigged colleague was behaving like a drunk in the cabin.. for a woman of over 30 years of age, trying to pole dance and all. sighz. but I guess it was very entertaining for the rest of the people. and probably the press? hmm. oh there's a rabbit too!

IMG_2450
the rabbit among the afros

then i finally managed to take a pic with shinji while sitting down in the train. Here it is!

me & Shinji
Shinji & me

*by the way, look at my teeth!!! they look straight!! :) :)

so we all from APOC office alighted at city hall to give out balloons to the public and to scare them by shouting "WOW" at them. what a hooha. but it was a sight to see the sea of black t-shirts and red balloons swarming out of the station. The rest alighted at Raffles Place, probably giving the shenton way people a scare.

IMG_2455
the swarm of WOW t-shirts

from the station, we headed through citylink, and then exited through the esplanade exit to board the return buses. it was scorching hot and I was really glad the event was mostly indoors.

then the rest of the day after we returned was spent on a 3pm teatime valentine's presentation event for the new software and buffet reception. after that, helped Shinji cleared his table, shred unwanted papers, shift his stuff from the old desk to the new one. hoho. and the day ended w/o much work done.

well. its dinner time now.

千三百二十四:Hurt wrist

I went to the Chinese traditional doctor last nite, and he said I had a lump or something was gathering and hardening in my wrist. Hence the lump sticking out when I bend my wrist. Luckily that’s not a bone sticking out of there! So basically the lump is rubbing against one of the bones in my palm area and the friction caused my wrist area to hurt whenever I exert pressure to push anything. So the doctor sent me to the room with the therapist and he used some electronic voltage thing to try to break the lump up. After about 20 min of that, he did some 推拿 on my wrist which nearly killed me. It felt like he was really realigning my wrist bones for a few of the twists and turns he did with my wrist. (T.T) after that, he applied some ointment on my wrist and wrapped it in some bandage to prevent movement of the wrist by too much today bah.

It hurts as I use the PC even, now, using the mouse or typing. This morning I couldn’t properly twist my arm around to the back to wear certain clothing. -.- never realised the wrist was so important until now. Sighz. I have to go back for another check on Friday, hopefully things will be ok after that.

So I just shifted my seat this morning. The sitting arrangement is quite yucky.

New seats for me

If you can see the picture, I am at the centremost seat of the row, the furthest seat away from the team. And the Daigoro, that’s the gross and disgusting guy in the team. He actually was so ks to want to change his seat yesterday that he came yesterday (during the public holiday) to move his stuff. -.- and since he came yesterday, he should know what it’s like in the new seat, which is quite cold. But. Of cos, he fails to notice that its pretty cold and he of cos fails to bring a jacket today. When he was the person who kept complaining its warm? And when its colder he can’t take it? So we just ignored him when he came around trying to say its cold how to change the aircon’s temperature, and just told him to bring a jacket tomorrow. And that gross guy is diagonally behind me so I hate it that he can see whatever I’m doing on my PC if he turns around to kpo, which he does a lot. So I’m going to get a big mirror later to prevent anyone from sneaking up from behind me. Later going to Daiso to buy. My first trip to Daiso! So excited!

Today is probably the earliest I can get off work this month. The tests have been delayed again until Thursday. I have this feeling they going to make us come back during the weekend next week or the week after to make the deadline despite their mistakes. Grrr.

千三百二十三: Blue Black Eyelid

My eyelid has a major blue black on it now. the right side.

Today is a public holiday for Japan, so I got to stay at home and bum around. I don't know why I woke up at 9+ am and just couldn't sleep anymore so I decided to finally go do the eyelash perm thing at bukit panjang. When I reached there, turns out there was a 50% off promotion for a first timer there, so I took advantage of that and did a facial as well. The bad thing about these places is they tend to keep
hardselling you. "we have this package, you buy now we throw in another free session.. " blah blah blah. sighz. and if 1 session costs $88, you have to buy 10 sessions at a go to get the session 11 free. which means a payment of $880! .... which is cash I do not have and I can use to buy an air ticket with.

so I tried hard to politely reject, just do what I came for today and they finally finished me after 3 hours. -.-

managed to leave with my wallet intact, rejected all their pushing. and my eyelid now has this blue black mark, i dunno how it happened! i think she might have exerted too much strength in the eyelash perming area. grrr. it hurts there now of cos. ...

so here I am at my dad's office to help him do some PC stuff, since I don't really have any reason not to help or not to come here. I'll be finally going to the doctor later to get him to take a look at my wrist problem (my wrist has been hurting for about a year now when I exert strength with it and there's a bone jutting out where there shouldn't be). so hopefully, all's well.

using dial up internet now.. going to d/c now.

千三百二十二: Chinese New Year Shopping

Pineapple tarts
does this make your mouth water?

I went CNY shopping with my mum today. we went rochor and it was so crowded and the sun was so scorchingly hot today. I wanted to wear cardigan to block the rays but it was just too warm. so i used the umbrella and put on sunblock instead. .. so my mom bought mushrooms and dried scallops as presents for the other relatives. I wandered around trying out food in the stores, like the mini prawn rolls hehe. but I was having cramps and just standing there wore me out.

after that my mum's shoe strap broke and the priority became shoe buying. walked around the disgustingly crowded OG. there was triumph sale though and I found 2 very nice designs for a very reasonable price. :)

after that we went to bugis junction and they had these fishy designs for their CNY deco:

Bugis Junction CNY Decoration
年年有余

then we just sat at starbucks and stoned for awhile, resting our legs until my dad came to pick us up. and we had steamboat for dinner at home. :) food was great!

now I'm feeling abit too full.

good night!

千三百二十一:what a relief

what a relief. it's finally over.

I stayed till 1.30am in the office yesterday to finish up the post assignment. almost dieded. because by 1.30am, I might have finished the project finally but i haven't studied for the exam which was today. (T.T)

I went bed at about 2.30am, set my alarm for 6am, but when it rang I hit it and went to bed until .. 7.30am. (T.T) only left one hour to look through everything le. so i just scanned through most of the notes, showered and left to meet my doom.

luckily the questions today, i was able to recall most of the answers, even if not indepth. and i was dying to go to the toilet at the end of 2 hours so i finished up and handed up the paper before rushing to the toilet.

I brought Mikako to the salon today, she wanted to cut her hair and do some treatment. we had lunch at the hong kong Cafe at cineleisure, then went to the salon on the 3rd floor. it was full house there. so many people around and i saw this girl who was there to just do treatment on her fringe. ?!? fringe only treatment? she too rich liaoz..so i instructed the stylist on what Mikako wanted and went off to look for a place to do eyelash perm. My old shop had closed down! i couldn't find it at ll, and I didn't see any other places doing it in Far East. sighz. Maybe i really have to go try the place at BPP liaoz.

so .. i wandered around orchard in my cardigan when it was blazing hot (cos i really didnt want to be burnt or get tanned) and went to Takashimaya in the end. Zara was having sale on winter/autumn clothing and I saw one really cool jacket but abit ex, $116. sighz, went to look at the sale items but all looked quite crappy. but i caught sight of a new arrival item, a hoodie and it looked so great i had to buy it. abit not cheap but I thought this is going to be my only clothing purchase for the month and then just went ahead. unfortunately, it's abit too casual to be a piece of new year clothing.

then met 2 old friends from Uni at the library. chatted abit and then i went to kino, and waited another hour. we went pasta cafe for dinner and bought some presents ofor vday oso.

ok at this point i would like to say my eye lids are actually shutting down so tomorrow i shall continue..

------
ok this is sunday morning & I shall continue. I wanted to say thank you for the advice, absolutjoiz and Edwynn. I went to get the suspension form for the course yesterday, I can suspend the course for a year and not have to make fee payments in between. So I think thats what i'll do. In the end for this module, I die die finished the post assignment in as best a way I could without sacrificing quality within this short 2 day window I had while I still went for the exam not too unprepared. I went to the exam hall and saw alot of people missing.. -.- so i felt quite happy, that i didn't take the short cut out and postpone the exam. :)

Plans for today is the Star Wars Episode 4-6 marathon and maybe shopping for new year goods with my mom. but i'm feeling abit sickly, my nose is runny and i think cramps are going to hurt today. and we are having early steamboat reunion dinner tonight cos my sis is going London next week, so no reunion dinner with her next week.

going to see the zara sale on monday again cos it was just too crowded yesterday.

千三百二十:Advice

My classmate advised me to email the lecturer to ask for a deadline extension for the assignment. Since I was doing OT almost the whole past month, he probably would understand that I don’t really have enough time to finish it. I am very tempted to, but my ego is pretty big; I don’t know if I will be penalized and I don’t want to use my extension request yet.

I have to defer the next 3 modules, I can foresee OT the next month everyday with the new tests coming up and she (my classmate) asked me if I would consider quitting the course since I just got a new job and the course is irrelevant to me now. Plus, I have no time to actually go to the lessons even. Once again, pride is the main concern. Probably I can do both, killing myself in the meantime (although I don’t know how I can do the 2 places at the same time thing). I am interested but not in really tearing myself apart. Again, there is the dilemma between job or studies as priority. I want to perform well in the job cos I just been given a job responsibility that is usually given to someone with more experience and that responsibility comes with the chance to travel to the company HQ in Seattle once every few months with the chance to lead the others and be the liaise between them and Japan and US. I was pushed up the job so fast cos I performed well the first month and I want to continue this trend. I have an advantage over others that I can communicate easily with both the Japanese side and US side and that’s one of the reasons why I can see the prospects. And the fact is that I am much younger than all of them.

So what should I do? I don’t want to give up the course actually, but I want to move up my job more. Advice please!!

千三百十九:Timeout

Stealing some time from work to blog this via email.

Today I did OT until 9pm, last night OT-ed until 11pm. -.- but I actually enjoy the OT, because the whole day is so bloody full of meetings u can like only take a breather, sit down, gather your thoughts after 1 meeting, go toilet, and then the next meeting begins. no time to do real work at one go until the end of the day. I finally understand why my poor ryo does OT until so late. meetings are the most time consuming thing of the day!!

so now finally completed all the tests assigned to me, I must start on the damn posters liao!! (T.T) really think i can't finish the project liao, the writing part i am really dreading cos i dun have much info about supermarkets. sianz......

千三百十八:Precious

I'm listening to the song Precious by Ito Yuna (伊藤由奈)。Some of you might probably know its the song from Umizaru 2: Limit of Love. It's sooooo overwhelming (cos it reminds me of the scenes from the movie) and I will feel like crying cos I will remember that disaster at Kagoshima in the show. hehe. too emotional liaoz.

Spent today piah-ing project. But.. fell asleep on the couch again. sighz. I dunno why i'm so worn out during weekends. And only 50% finished!! die liaoz. I better finish studying even if I cant do anymore of the Project today. (T.T)

Watching Food Fight VCD these 2 days. 「僕の胃は宇宙だ。」his famous line about his stomach being as great as the universe. and I realise the Poh Kim vCDs are just recorded from Japan TV, not really like proper VCDs. no wonder that time they recalled the whole batch! in this case, I would rather dl than encourage such unethical sales by those VCD makers. better quality anywayz.

Watched the match between Singapore and Thailand by accident this evening. I'm glad we caught it, cos my estate we heard people shouting (with one voice) when we were switching channels and went back to channel 5 in time to see the replay of the Thai goal. luckily, we managed to see the Singapore goal towards the end too. Well done Lions!

千三百十七: Late updates

We had dinner for the first time with the aPac team last night cos their boss bought dinner for us. being the last day of testing for some tool, we were rushing but there were so much problems still that it was almost impossible to proceed.

so the aPac team sup bought us dinner at about 9pm o.O .. abit late but it was still good dinner.

oh we had lunch at this Japanese restaurant at PSA Building named Shimizu. It was pretty good. but blew up my lunch budget for the week. cos they included 10% service charge as well, the total cost came up to be quite substancial for 4 people for a lunch meal. it appears to be a popular place, many people made reservations and we got seats because our lunch hour was earlier.

then today I watched Reveenge of the Siths today and it was so exciting. now i finally understand how Anakin became the black-faced guy he is now.

saw this car today. dunno what model of Mercedes but it looks very cool.
cool Mercedes

ok i think i am lacking sleep this weekend too. good night.

千三百十六:Zichar

We had Zi char for dinner today.

it was a good dinner because of the conversation (pretending wdl wasnt there of cos). I had no time to do my assignment at all though. HOw HOW HOW!?!

Work ended at 11pm and i got a taxi driver who drove maniacally, and I had at least 3 near misses of an accident. abit scared but the driver said don't worry and ok, i am still alive.

there's a china girl in my work place who wore such a low cut top today and purposely open her windbreaker so low that it doesnt cover aniting. -.- its an office!! not a club lor!! felt quite disgusted la. one look can tell she is the hiao kind liaoz. apparently she's one year younger than me. and she has managed to rouse wdl's interest in her with her hiao dressing. hahahaha. well done!!

ok. no pictures today though. good nite.
